Our core tech team assembles, and ground is broken on the first lines of code that would soon become South Africa’s most ambitious accounting platform.
November 2024
With overwhelming market interest, we close our pre-launch sign-up at 100 firms eagerly awaiting the first release of Fintura.
March 2025
After months of careful development and collaboration, Fintura launches to our early adopters, bringing modern practice management to life.
June 2025
Fintura pitched against some of the most promising Fintech startups in South Africa and came out regional winners, along with an invite to the finals in October in San Francisco!

With over 10 years of accounting and auditing experience in South Africa, Bernice founded Fintura after living the daily frustrations of juggling multiple software tools to serve clients. Determined to create the all-in-one solution the industry needed, she brings relentless vision, resilience, and leadership to drive Fintura’s mission forward.
Reece
Reece brings more than a decade of experience in B2B sales, marketing, and business growth. As Fintura’s Chief Revenue Officer, he leads sales, marketing, and partnership development, focused on building strong relationships and scaling Fintura’s reach across South Africa’s accounting landscape.

Stephan Wessels
As CTO of a leading fintech company, Stephan brings extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure and data governance. His strategic input has been pivotal to the successful build of Fintura’s platform, ensuring its scalability, security, and future readiness.
